Moving necessities.

For the past week or two I have been packing up two or three boxes each night. I actually really enjoy packing (for now) maybe because I am super OCD and a type A control FaREAK! Just ask Brady. He asks me every night if I want help and my answer is always: Nope but you can move this out to the garage (a task that I may take over considering he put a 55 + lb box on top of one with linens and bar utensils which then smushed the box to all hell). <-------See what I mean?? Anywho- These are the necessities you must absolutely have to move.

Packing tape and lots of neon masking tape, pad of paper so you can keep track of what is packed together and in what boxes, sharpies, scissors.. Ya knows.. The basics!

This is an amazing purchase! Go to Walmart, go to the office supply aisle and buy yourself 100 ft. of bubble wrap. It makes things so. much. easier. Newspaper is great too (shoutout Arkansas Times for helping me with that. :)/)

Attn WOMEN: If you are engaged or a newly wed, Do not throw away your china boxes. They are valuable valuable things because usually they come in bright colors and bright colored boxes scream IMPORTANT.

See? These boxes scream important.. Because they are.
I'm lucky to work at a newspaper because I not only have an unlimited supply of newsprint duh.. We have tons of those white and navy boxes pictured above laying around. These boxes are sturdy and have lids, perfect for packing breakables!

Be forewarned friends and family that are helping us move, if you drop a pink box or Pettus Office Supplies box you are dead meat. These hold my china, wine glasses, Waterford, cake plates, and important serving pieces. Thanks :)

These also really help with the dreaded packing/moving process:

Love this album
