Drumroll.....

After much anticipation I am finally going to show you all some pics of our new house (your welcome, Whitney :). I have been meaning to do so but the pictures on Zillow are terrible because they were taken by the owners on what I am sure is a Polaroid camera (this is why you hire a professional when you are selling your home). But whatevs... I am only going to show you a few because I don't really want to memorialize the purple walls in one of the downstairs bedrooms, or the super ugly modern ceiling fan in the office, or the Playmobile toys that litter every corner of the living spaces. I hope you understand.

This would be the front of the house. Duh.
This is the view when you walk in. The entire back of the house has windows- It will be so pretty in fall and even better when the entire house isn't bathed in khaki, brown, taupe, cream, tan, and more brown.
The other side of the fireplace, view is from the back of the kitchen. The entire floor plan is open and perfect for entertaining. We plan on making a bar where there television was placed. I also will not have alphabet magnets on the dishwasher. :)

More of the kitchen- Yay for double ovens! Can't wait to recover the barstools... And de-clutter the countertops... And add some fun bright accents.
I really like the "banister" that leads to the downstairs. The back door is the master suite and the other door is the hall bath. Downstairs are two large bedrooms with a bath, as well as a huge multi-purpose room. Brady thinks this will turn into his man cave.. And I think it will turn into a nice media room with room for overflow guests.
The back side of the house. We are lucky that the house features over 900 square feet of deck space- hello parties!!
And part of the back yard. I swear this is the main reason B wanted to buy this house. No joke, when we were looking at it for the first time, he ran down to the stream and excitedly yelled back to me, "Sarah, there are fish in here!!!!!". Yes, we bought a home on the sole reason there are fish behind it.

Can't wait to start moving in- TOMORROW!!! I will keep you posted on our progress and promise to post better pictures when we get settled. Lots of do-it-yourself posts coming up.
