One of my favorite go-to desserts to make is this super simple Fruit Trifle. I'm not sure where the recipe came from (or if there ever was a recipe) but I think I can give credit to my Madre for it.
Here is what you will need:
Angel food cake (I usually get the sugar free to save cals)
Cool whip (again, I get sugar or fat free)
Fat free strawberry yogurt (2 Yoplait)
Strawberries
Blackberries
Blueberries
Mix yogurt and cool whip together.. First layer is half of the angel food cake torn into 2 inch pieces.Top with half of yogurt mixture and then top with half of berries. Repeat and finish. Dig in.
This recipe is so incredibly simple and can be changed to your liking. Feel like banana instead of blackberries? Or kiwi? Go for it! It's also fabulous leftover for breakfast and with it being so healthy (cough cough), you don't even have to feel bad!
