Down time with some down.

Hey there yall! I promise I'm not dead- I took an unofficial vacay from posting last week that was both unintentional and kind of nice. :) So sorry bout that.. I am back from a weekend filled with friends, home (the Fay version) and toddies. We had such a great weekend in Fayetteville to celebrate our dear friends on-the-way-baby as well as a great night out with even more friends! I am lucky enough to have a job that requires me to make occasional trips up north that I get to pair with family time.

Enough of the small talk- let's get down to business. This week's business will include painting at least one room in our house. It is getting serious time- as in people are going to have to be invited to dinner at some point and our house is not ready for it's introduction. Kelly green for the hall bath or mine?... Seafoam/ turquoise for the downstairs bedroom.. Its happening.

Today I ordered some fun pillows for the sectional that is downstairs in the media room. The entire room is beige. The walls, the carpet, the sectional.. blah blah blah. I decided to order some super bold pillows to hopefully amp up the vibe. I will also be ordering some fabric from Spoonflower to cover large scale canvases for noise control and some cheap "art". Don't know what Spoonflower is?? Go ahead and check that out- I'll wait.. It's an overwhelming website full of crazy awesome one-of-a-kind fabric. You can even design your own. It's amaze.
