Burnout...

Burnout is never a good thing. Whether it be running burnout, friend burnout or burnout t's..

Like I said.. Never a good thing!

I have been having major running burnout lately. I'm assuming it's the weather (which is now actually cooling off shocking!!) because my running group is fantabulous, I have fun running gear, and my running trails are still new(ish). What do you do to combat running burnout? I take up new and way more fun ways to exercise. Case in point: joining 10 Fitness+. Yesterday I did a cardio sculpt class and today a spin class. The spin class was too much fun and felt like a great workout!

Obvi Jennifer doesn't have running burnout but she is also a huge advocate of Spinning. Here's to hopes I will look like her at the vibrant age of 43.
This Hard Rock half marathon is quickly approaching and I haven't ran in over two weeks.. Yikes!! Motivation friends?!?!?

  2. A new playlist always gets me in the mood to run! I took a couple weeks off towards the end of my 1/2 marathon training and when I eventually ran again that was a major motivator for me. It was really tough and made me realize I had gone too far to start slacking at the end. After a couple more runs I was back in the swing of it and did great on my 1/2 :-)
