Bookshelf redo-

Here is a DIY project that I completed a couple of weeks ago. Remember this post here where I was frantically trying to get projects done because the hubs invited a bunch of people over? Yeah, this is one of those projects I completed that week. :)

Found these little treasures at a flea market for $22.50 each. And that price is firm people.. Ha
The first step was wiping down with damp cloth to remove any dust or dirt. We then sprayed the bookshelves with a Rustoleum primer so we didn't have to sand the darn things. It worked out great!
I started out painting them white white. It was way too bright in our house so I decided to forego another trip to Home Depot and used some paint we already had (used for both downstairs bedrooms). This color is called Muslin from Home Depot, not sure the brand. I just used a roller and a medium sized brush on the corners and the details. A couple of coats and wallah!

Final project. I have since restaged the bookshelves.. They were way too crowded but all is well now... :)
